  • What the e.l.f. is “e.l.f. clean”?   “e.l.f. clean” isn’t a trend — it’s our standard.   We believe beauty should be clean, conscious and accessible to every eye, lip and face.   That’s why we raised our standards and created e.l.f. clean, our commitment to meeting (and exceeding) the highest standards of clean beauty.   Yes, it’s on the label. It’s also a declaration of our commitment to transparency, safety and accessibility. e.l.f. clean meets the moment — and then raises the bar.   Every e.l.f. skincare and makeup product is formulated to comply with both FDA and European Union Cosmetics Regulation (EUCR) standards — going well beyond the 11 ingredients restricted by the FDA.   In fact, we exclude 2,500+ ingredients from our formulas, including parabens, phthalates, formaldehyde, lead, mercury and more.   And we’re always improving. We regularly evaluate the list of ingredients that we choose not to include in our products, including reviewing our manufacturing processes and partners and considering new scientific data and broader consumer sentiment.   In FY 2024 alone, we reformulated over 100 SKUs to go even further — refining ingredients, improving transparency and staying ahead of evolving science and consumer expectations.   Clean beauty without compromise, at prices that remain accessible — because high standards should never come with a high price tag.   We don’t just do clean.
