This summer, I was blessed with the opportunity to intern in the Facilities Division with ECS Group of Companies! This was an awesome opportunity, allowing me to experience field engineering and its necessary skills, along with traveling around the country to places I may have never seen otherwise. My work focused on advanced load testing of structural beams for use in the solar power industry. I gained experience in the following areas: - Advanced load testing and instrumentation - Remote-operated piledriving - On-the-job problem solving I am excited to share that I will continue part-time in the fall with the structural team at ECS Group of Companies! I want to give a huge shoutout to my manager, John Frazier, for teaching me the ins and outs of the engineering world this summer. Once again, thankful to everyone involved for this opportunity!
