  • The Edgemoor team was beyond proud to celebrate the grand opening of the University of Nevada, Reno's new John Tulloch Business Building with our partners at the University as well as our team members Clark Construction Group, LMN Architects, and more. The new home for the College of Business features state-of-the-art classrooms, collaborative study spaces, a 300-seat auditorium, and a finance lab with real-time stock market data. The building's design is both practical, creating an environment where students can prepare for real world business scenarios, and visionary, connecting the University to Downtown Reno and creating a hub for collaboration and innovation. We were inspired to hear what this building means to the University and the broader community from speakers including University President Brian Sandoval, College of Business Dean Greg Mosier, Reno Mayor Hillary Schieve, and a current College of Business student. Edgemoor's Managing Director Donald Gibson also spoke, commending the University on its forward-thinking approach and the team's collaborative partnership to deliver this impactful project. We're so excited to see how the College of Business continues to evolve in its new space. Go Pack! Read more here: https://lnkd.in/emX25wWu

  • As summer winds down, we want to give a big shout-out to our incredible Summer Associates: Malhar Mandsaurwale (University of Maryland), Campbell White (Tulane University), and Sara Boddie (University of Virginia)! This summer, they played key roles in several strategic initiatives at Edgemoor. We asked them their favorite things about working with Edgemoor this summer, and here’s what they shared: - Malhar: "Sourcing opportunities - researching and presenting my own idea for a new civic pursuit and helping craft market strategy was incredibly rewarding." - Campbell: “Team lunches - they perfectly showcase how personable everyone is, truly highlighting the team's genuine interest in getting to know one another beyond work.” - Sara: "Deep involvement - presenting to the design-build team of a project we are pursuing was exciting, and it gave me the opportunity to engage with the other firms we are working alongside.” Thank you Malhar, Campbell, and Sara for your hard work! We can’t wait to see what you accomplish!

  • Building the future of Reno, one marshmallow and pretzel at a time! The Edgemoor team partnered with Clark Construction Group to host 80 young engineers from the University of Nevada Child & Family Research Center for a morning of construction-themed fun. The future builders created their own adorable architectural marvels with marshmallows, pretzels, and popsicle sticks. We rounded out the morning by reading the children's classic "Good Night, Good Night, Construction Site," and sent every student home with their own copy of the book. Investing in our community is one of our passions, and we loved creating this memorable activity to inspire the next generation! #CommunityEngagement #Reno #FutureEngineers #GivingBack

  • The role of the college stadium is evolving. No longer just game-day venues, stadiums are becoming vibrant, year-round destinations that drive value for the entire campus and community. A recent article in the Fresno Bee, which featured insights from our Senior Managing Director Geoffrey Stricker, shines a light on the national conversation around funding and developing these critical pieces of campus infrastructure through public-private partnerships. At Edgemoor, we're proud to be leading this charge, partnering with institutions like the University of Kansas on its visionary Gateway District (pictured). By integrating stadiums with mixed-use developments, universities can unlock new revenue streams, enhance the student experience, and create lasting community assets. • Earlier this summer, we hosted a welcome breakfast for our inaugural tenants, marking the exciting transition of Fuse at Mason Square from a multi-year development into a living, breathing innovation ecosystem. This event provided a valuable opportunity for tenants to connect with the Edgemoor team, network with fellow innovators, and learn more about the state-of-the-art amenities and resources available at Fuse. As developers and long-term partners, our commitment extends far beyond the physical construction of the facility; we are invested in fostering a supportive environment and championing the continued growth and success of the companies now calling Fuse home. We can't wait to witness the groundbreaking work and collaborations that will emerge from this dynamic new hub in Arlington!

  • Edgemoor takes on The Biggest Little City in the World! Last week, team members from across the country gathered in Reno, Nevada, for our semiannual offsite. The trip centered around the University of Nevada, Reno Mathewson Gateway project, which Edgemoor is developing in partnership with the University. In between touring the new College of Business building and panel discussions with partners on the project, our team hosted local partners and friends at the National Automobile Museum and bonded over games ranging from bocce ball to blackjack. We're excited to continue contributing to Reno's vibrant growth and community! Thank you to everyone who joined us!
