The 19.8-acre project marks EMBREY’s continued expansion into high-growth Southeast markets with a thoughtfully designed, 300-unit residential community that emphasizes connectivity. Strategically located at the intersection of I-77 and I-485, Stateswood offers direct access to Uptown Charlotte and sits adjacent to a variety of retail, parks and lifestyle amenities. The development will bring a mix of one- and two-bedroom units to residents. Pre-leasing will be managed by EMBREY Management Services with the first units expected to deliver in the first quarter of 2027. Lender for the project is Trustmark Bank. This summer, EMBREY welcomed 12 talented interns for a dynamic 10-week experience across our corporate office and active construction sites in Texas, Colorado and North Carolina. Selected through a competitive, merit-based process in which generally only one out of every 100 applications is accepted, EMBREY interns become full immersed in our culture, create meaningful connections and work alongside our division teams on projects providing real-world applications.    From interactive Lunch & Learns offering insight into our business model, to casual Coffee Chats with navigators encouraging relationship-building, interns gained a comprehensive look at life at EMBREY. Each received professional headshots, was featured in an Intern Spotlight across our platforms and gained firsthand experience through property tours, jobsite visits and participation in company events.   The program concluded with final presentations to our senior leadership team: Trey Embrey, Rod Riordan, Joanna Hernandez, M.Ed., MSOL, SPHR-CP, Brad Knolle, Jacob Shalley, LEED®AP, Helena Finley and Allyson McKay, with out-of-state interns flown in to join their peers for this capstone event.
