It’s been a busy summer for the Sustainability Leaders Council LatAm! Highlights include: ➡️ London Climate Action Week – In June, we hosted an in-person roundtable on the upcoming INC 5.2 Plastics Treaty negotiations, followed by a dinner roundtable discussing transformative partnerships for food security, farmer livelihoods, and climate resilience. ➡️ Sustainability in Mexico City – In July, our hybrid session focused on public sector initiatives for natural protected areas, sustainability in agriculture, and local efforts driving positive impact across Mexico. ➡️ Plastics Treaty Negotiations in Geneva – In August, we were on the ground for the plastics treaty negotiations and hosted two in-person sessions exploring negotiation progress, multi-stakeholder insights, regional consultations, and key country positions, helping participants navigate the negotiation process and understand the expected outcome.

We are excited to launch our partnership with WUF WORLD and announce our certification as a Best Pet Workplace! We look forward to continuing to support our employees and the animals in their lives – more exciting updates to come this fall.
Fostering connection and belonging is more important—and often more challenging—than ever. We’ve cracked the code in a new way at EG and are proud to announce our partnership with WUF WORLD and our certification as a Best Pet Workplace. At today’s launch, colleagues shared stories of how their pets contribute to their well-being and enrich their professional lives. 70% of employees have pets—underscoring just how integral they are to our families and daily experiences. Fittingly, today is also National Dog Day, so I’m happy to introduce my constant companions: Jasmine (“Jazzi,” 4) and Juniper (“Juni,” 6 months). Yes, they are staring at my husband holding a treat in his hand. #eurasiagroup #nationaldogday #bestpetworkplace
