This morning, my daughter Mariana Gillen-Sánchez was featured on CBS Channel 10 to share her story and raise awareness about the early signs of dyslexia in young children. The interview spotlighted her Girl Scout Gold Award project, which focused on educating parents and teachers, hosting informational sessions, and helping provide early screenings for children who learn differently. Dyslexia has been her greatest challenge—but she’s turned it into her superpower. She’s using her voice to make a real impact and be an example for other children navigating similar paths.
