  • 🚀 Introducing Real-time Messaging by GrowthLoop Marketers have always had to choose between speed and context.   ❌ Should I send real-time messages using incomplete, fragmented data? ❌ Or wait for a nightly ETL to enable personalization…and miss the moment completely? Not anymore. With Real-time Messaging, we’re bringing speed and context together so you can trigger messages the moment customers act, powered by your own data, and built on top of your data cloud.   ✅ Build journeys that combine real-time and lifecycle marketing across channels in one unified canvas. ✅ Trigger messages in seconds using flexible streaming like Kafka. No warehousing necessary. ✅ Activate across any channel, like email, SMS, or push, with your existing tools and integrations. ✅ Keep your data where it belongs: in your cloud, with full governance and zero duplication. • Marketing teams constantly struggle with an ever-evolving toolset for storing and activating customer data. With over 15,000 martech tools to choose from, teams are trapped in ongoing cycles where they: 💰 Place big bets on their customer data foundation, like a CDP or MAP. 🔎 Seek new channel tools, rigorously compare vendors, and spend significant resources to integrate tools into their existing stack. 😩 Struggle to achieve any tool’s promised potential, and fail to optimize their workflows or demonstrate meaningful business value. The cycle begins again as teams overhaul their data foundation or chase the next shiny solution that promises to be a cure-all. How do you end these cycles? A composable architecture. Composable technologies built around a data cloud are the only way to preserve your customer 360 and activate data across an ever-changing landscape of channels. 🔗 in the comments for more.

When I was at Google, the company had already scaled to thousands of employees. While at Evernote, it was a few hundred. Today at GrowthLoop, we’re around 100. And I’ve seen firsthand that size isn’t what separates the companies that move quickly from the ones that get stuck. It comes down to something else entirely: innovation density. It’s not about how many people are on the team. It’s about how often ideas turn into action. How easily blockers get removed. How much real progress gets made relative to the resources involved. Small teams often have this built in by necessity. They don’t have the luxury of multiple layers or endless deliberation. They pick a direction and start moving, knowing they can adjust as they go. Larger companies can operate this way too, but it requires intentionality. You have to create systems that allow for velocity, not just scale. And you have to resist the natural tendency toward complexity that grows with headcount. AI — and especially AI agents — are also amplifiers of innovation density. They strip away repetitive work, surface insights instantly, and free up teams to focus on the creative, high‑impact decisions that actually move the needle. The result: even a team of 100 can punch like a team of 1,000 — not by working harder, but by working on the right things. At GrowthLoop, this is something we talk about often. How do we keep innovation density high as we grow? How do we stay focused on moving quickly and learning along the way, rather than getting bogged down by process? These aren’t questions with simple answers, but asking them regularly is part of how you keep from drifting.

  • Will AI take marketers’ jobs? We don’t think so. Our research shows that AI isn’t replacing marketers — it’s making marketers *better.* In The 2025 AI and Marketing Performance Index, the data showed a clear theme. Like peanut butter and jelly, marketers and AI just work better together: 🔹 86% of marketers say human intervention improves AI effectiveness 🔹 85% believe some level of human oversight is necessary with AI 🔹 71% are investing in upskilling current employees on AI The marketing industry may have embraced AI, but specifically as a partner to enhance human work. And for that, many marketers are optimistic: 47% believe AI will help make them more creative and efficient. You’re better off seeing AI as a tool that gives you marketing superpowers than as a threat. See the data for yourself (and much more of it) in the full report. Link in comments 👇.
