We’re thrilled to share that Megan Sutton, RD, Manager – Regulatory at Horizon Organic, has been appointed Chair of the Dairy Standards and Technical Committee for the Dairy Institute of California (DIC)! In this new role, Megan will be instrumental in ensuring that California’s dairy industry continues to meet high standards by tackling scientific, regulatory, and technical challenges. She’ll lead committee activities, support DIC staff in meeting prep, and help guide important discussions that affect the future of dairy in the state. Congratulations, Megan – we’re excited to see the impact you’ll make in this role!

We welcomed an impressive group of future mooovers & shakers to our Broomfield, CO, office in April as part of Bring Your Kids to Work Day. Everyone enjoyed tours, a photo booth, fun activities and – of course – plenty of Horizon and Wallaby snacks. They also jumped into our "Milk Tank" challenge, where they pitched creative ideas for future products. We can’t wait to see everyone back next year! 👧👦🏢

Celebrating National Agriculture Day with our amazing farmer, Cody! 🌟 Cody is a 3rd generation farmer and started transitioning his family farm from conventional to organic in 2013. His devotion to sustainable farming practices and cow care ensures the highest quality milk. Cody is utilizing solar panels and incorporating cover crops on his organic acres. Both can enhance sustainability and reduce costs. Plus, by incorporating cover crops, farmers can maintain long-term soil fertility. Farmers are at the heart of Horizon and we love the passion we share for organic dairy.
