🔎 A community which lift each other up --> there's a lot of these and you're lucky if you are already part of one. 🔎 A 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 community which lift each other up --> this one is more rare, but it can still exist. 🔎 A 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐈𝐏 which lift each other up --> this is very rare, because IP professional are trained not to share, to keep secret. 📍 But there is a way of sharing non-confidential best-practices (not just commercial blah blah) while leaving the confidential parts out. 📍 And we think I3PM International Institute for Intellectual Property Management is one of the rare pearls! 💡 One concrete example: One of our speakers, Maier Fenster, had his flight cancelled due to the war in Isreal. Maier was scheduled to co-animate 2 sessions, over 2h. As organisers, we did not have the bandwidth nor equipment to set up a hybrid session. 💙 For over 2 hours, I observed his co-presenters, Dr. Benjamin DELSOL (PhD, LL.M) and Magnus Hakvåg, liteerally carried Maier all over the conference room while they were presenting and running their workshops simultaneously. At one point, Magnus even apologised for putting Maier down on the table because he needs both his hands to run the workshop. 👀 Including Maier in conversations with the participants 👀 Putting the recording microphone to make sure that Maier's voice could be heard 👀 Constantly moving Maier aound the room so that Maier can see what's happening 360° as if he was physically present, and participate in the discussions. They endearingly call Maier the "talking head" , quite literally. 😁 This is the display of genuine community support and the desire for inclusion and lifting each other up! The author is proud of this community, for the love and energy all of you have shown throughout our journey together. ❤️ Signed: Jamie, President of I3PM International Institute for Intellectual Property Management

👊 IT'S 👊 A 👊WRAP👊 I3PM gathered the IP Management community in Center for International Intellectual Property Studies - CEIPI yesterday to shape the future of IP Management. 🚩 We learnt from thought leaders. ❤️ We made new friends and renewed old friendships. 💪 We laughed, we challenged each other kindly, we played games, we listened deeply. 🔥 We were all sweaty from the summer heat but everyone was in high energy mode at the end of the day. This ☝️☝️ is why we organised the I3PM conference. 🤝 We are building a community who are willing to share best practices of the trade. 🫶 Thank you to those present for being part of it.
