If you're only looking at temperature and #RelativeHumidity when designing for moisture control you're not seeing the full picture. To get dehumidification right, you must calculate the absolute humidity of the space, that is the actual mass of water vapor in the air. Why? Because RH is a moving target. It changes with temperature. Two spaces can have the same relative humidity but vastly different moisture loads. We’ve all seen those little packets labeled “Do Not Eat” in packaging but silica gel isn’t just for those boxes left on your front porch.
