Inspired by InterCommunity’s “In Their Own Words💬” social media campaign, a series sharing powerful stories from people whose lives have been touched by our whole-person approach to health, this exhibition aims to uplift the voices behind the art, highlighting the healing power of creativity and community. The campaign and this exhibition seek to highlight real people, and real journeys—𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓 𝒐𝒘𝒏 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒅𝒔. Submissions should include both the work of art and an artist’s statement about the healing power of art in a written format. The Gallery will then work with the artists chosen for the exhibit to audio-record their statement so that gallery goers will be able to scan a QR-code next to the piece to listen to the artist’s story firsthand. 📅 SUBMISSIONS ARE DUE BY SEPTEMBER 19, 2025.
