More than 75 Young Partners came together at Trillium Brewing Company on Boston's Greenway on June 11 for their annual Summer Social. This year's social was in support of Curraghboy National School in County Roscommon. Thanks to the generosity of these young professionals, the Irish American Partnership is delighted to make a grant to this small rural school funding much needed resources like sports and outdoor equipment. Principal Rory Leonard shared the profound impact this support will have on the school community: “When I took on the role of Principal at Curraghboy in 2023, I was met with a stark reality: our buildings were in poor condition, equipment was outdated, and resources were stretched thin. I quickly came to believe that improving our facilities was not just a matter of practicality—it was a moral obligation. A safe, engaging, and inclusive environment is the foundation upon which children build their futures. Your contribution won’t just repair walls or buy equipment—it will restore pride, fuel ambition, and create a future where every child in our care feels valued, seen, and supported. On behalf of our staff, students, and the families of Curraghboy National School, thank you for being part of our story.” More information >> https://lnkd.in/en62pdWz

It was an incredible honor to meet President Mary Robinson this week during her visit to Boston — a true icon of human rights, climate justice, and Irish leadership. Her leadership has shaped Ireland’s modern identity: as a senator, a barrister, a global diplomat, and a fierce advocate for equality, inclusion, and justice. Hearing her speak about Project Dandelion, her new woman-led climate initiative, was both powerful and deeply inspiring. Grateful to the Consulate General of Ireland Boston and Mná Mheiriceá for hosting this meaningful gathering — and to President Robinson for continuing to inspire us all to lead with purpose. Last week, our CEO Mary Sugrue had the honor of attending this year's Global Economic Summit in her beautiful home county of #Kerry — a gathering that brought together 300 global leaders to explore bold, values-driven solutions to some of the world’s greatest challenges. One standout moment? Meeting the Murphy sisters, winners of the 2025 Young Scientist Award — a shining example of Ireland’s bright future. Their achievement underscores why the Irish American Partnership is so committed to investing in the next generation of Irish leaders. Congratulations to the organizers, speakers, and partners behind GES, including Kerry County Council, Accenture, J.T. Magen & Company Inc., Business Post, and discoverkerry.com — and a special thanks to all who continue to shape Ireland’s role on the global stage. I was delighted to attend the Global Economic Summit this week in my lovely home county of Kerry. It was a thought-provoking, inspirational, and uplifting few days. A wonderful reminder of the power of connection, of belonging, and of the shared values which bring meaningful focus to our work and our lives. Meeting the three Murphy sisters from Kerry who won the 2025 Young Scientist award was one of the highlights - and another wonderful reminder - of the importance of nurturing and supporting the next generation. Well done to all the speakers and organizers at GES! Kerry County Council Business Post discoverkerry.com Accenture J.T. Magen & Company Inc. Sarah Murphy Megan Cassidy
