Over the past eight years, the NYC Ferry system has reshaped how New Yorkers move and even where they live. What started as a bold idea is now a system spanning all five boroughs, fueling growth and accessibility along the waterfront. KCI’s Northeast civil, structural, and marine engineers have played a central role in delivering the #resilient #infrastructure that makes it possible. From Astoria to Rockaway, Red Hook to Soundview, our team designed and supported construction of standardized floating terminals with ADA-accessible gangways, engineered to adapt to rising tides, withstand extreme storms, and expand citywide connectivity. #TransportationInfrastructure #MarineEngineering
