It’s hard to believe my summer in Los Angeles is nearly over. At 19, I packed my bags and moved halfway across the world to intern with the Commercial Investments Group at Kennedy Wilson. New continent, new city, new people, new challenges, and I’m so glad I just said YES. I’ve made friends I’ll have for life, explored an incredible country, and thrown myself into every opportunity, from sunsets in Malibu to presenting to the entire Investment Committee. This was so much more than just an internship. I’ve come away more independent, more confident, and more adaptable, in work and in life. LA showed me that the real growth happens when you step out of your comfort zone. Huge thank you to Kennedy Wilson for the mentorship and trust, and to Los Angeles for the memories, the acai bowls, and the people that made this summer unforgettable.

TRANSACTION NEWS: Kennedy Wilson has exchanged on the purchase of approximately 275 units via three separate transactions on behalf of its single-family rental housing joint venture with Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments | Investissements RPC) for a total of approximately £100 million ($135 million).
