🥤 Small Boxes. Big Impact. 🥤 Did You Know?🧐 Summer can be an especially difficult time for families facing food insecurity, as older siblings may lose access to school-provided meals. Kids' Meals, Inc. helps bridge that gap by delivering daily lunches to preschool-aged children and, when possible, their siblings, making support like juice box donations especially important this time of year. This summer, Kuraray America, Inc. (KAI) took on the Juice Box Challenge to support this incredible Houston nonprofit and its mission of delivering free, healthy meals directly to young children’s homes. Thanks to the generosity of our teams (and a little friendly competition), we collected over 500 juice boxes to help fuel Houston’s youngest community members. A special thank-you to Merissa Spurgeon for leading the effort and personally delivering the donations on behalf of KAI! 🌞 A big thank you to everyone who joined us for our Houston Family Fun Day & BBQ Cookoff! Hosted at the Pasadena Fairgrounds, the 2-day event brought together Houston-area Kuraray America, Inc. employees and families for great food, friendly competition, and community connection. 🍖 Day 1 kicked off with our annual BBQ Cookoff, where employee teams brought their best to the grill.  🎉 Day 2 was all about family fun, with games, activities, and time to unwind and enjoy each other’s company. Events like this play an important role in making Kuraray America a great place to work. They give us time to strengthen relationships, celebrate our people, and build community beyond the workplace.  We’re grateful to our 2025 Houston Events Committee and the volunteers who helped plan, run, and wrap up this special weekend.
