Our Pursuit of Excellence Program acknowledges and celebrates the contributions of colleagues and team members who align with our core global values. Over 1,200 team members earned 340 Achievement Awards, and over 230 associates on 15 teams received New Heights awards for outstanding cross-collaboration projects. One team received the ultimate recognition – our Summit Award. This team, with many members pictured here at the celebration event, was recognized for the amazing development and launch of our Cablofil® Cable Bus product. This was developed with key contractors and end customers in a collaborative way, which helped us get the product tested, vetted, and launched quickly. Today is Purple Heart Day. This day honors the brave U.S. service members who were wounded or lost their lives in combat. First established in 1782 by George Washington as the Badge of Military Merit, the Purple Heart is one of the oldest military decorations still awarded today. On August 7, we pause to recognize the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of these heroes. It’s also a time to honor the strength of military families and veterans in our communities, including those within our organization.

We are celebrating 5 Years of the Black Professional Network! From July 22–24, we celebrated a powerful milestone: the 5th anniversary of our Employee Resource Group, Black Professional Network (BPN). Founded in July 2020, in the wake of the murder of George Floyd, BPN was born out of grief—but also out of a collective desire for healing, action, and change. What began as a space to center and support Black employees in a time of immense pain has since grown into a vibrant, thriving employee resource group that champions equity, community, and professional excellence. Over the past five years, we’ve: > Fostered meaningful dialogue around racial justice and inclusion through our Courageous Conversations > Supported the growth and development of Black professionals > Built mentorship programs and leadership pipelines > Provided community support through initiatives like our Back-to-School Drive during our first in-person conference > Created space for joy, culture, and connection This anniversary is more than a celebration—it’s a reflection of how far we’ve come, and a recommitment to the work ahead.
