With heavy hearts, we share that our longtime partner and friend, Michael Cunningham, passed away on August 16, 2025. Part of Lettuce since 1993, Michael helped shape The Pump Room, Mon Ami Gabi, Café Ba Ba Reeba!, Summer House, and the Windy City Smokeout. He was a proud veteran, a devoted husband and father, and an adventurer at heart. Michael was steady, kind, and direct. He advocated for his teams, believed in their creativity, and made things happen. His passion for hospitality will live on in our restaurants and in all of us. We will miss him dearly.
