  • Our Quick Qs series is a way to get to know our new and recently promoted leaders at Levi Strauss & Co. Meet Megan Staar, our new senior design director for Beyond Yoga, through these quick questions. Welcome, Megan! 1️⃣ What did you do before joining LS&Co.?  I’ve been designing and working in the activewear industry for my whole career and have been fortunate to work for companies such as Athleta, Nike, Target and most recently Fabletics. 2️⃣ What does success look like in your job? Success to me is seeing our consumers engage in meaningful experiences with our product. It’s when our team collaborates with trust and respect, driving innovation through exceptional design and efficient processes. Success is also feeling pride in how we, as individuals and as a team, show up every day, prioritizing building strong relationships and supporting one another. 3️⃣ What is your go-to LS&Co. product? My constant go-to is an oversized denim jacket — my most recent purchase is the men’s Union Engineer Coat. And I’ve been living in the Beyond Yoga® Forever Tank and Slim Racerback Tank. 4️⃣ How do you unwind?  I started doing my own nails during Covid, and it has turned into a passion hobby.  5️⃣ What is your favorite TV show? Nothing beats rewatching and binging the Great British Bake Off.  6️⃣ What is the worst haircut you ever had? Bangs. For so long! And no one told me my forehead was too small to pull it off.  7️⃣ What is your favorite sports team? GO GIANTS!!  8️⃣ What was your most valued possession as a child? Two teddy bears named Sue and Star. As fate had it, my future mother-in-law’s name is Sue Staar. Kismet!

  • Today, the Levi’s® brand launched the final installment of the Levi’s® REIIMAGINE campaign with the debut of "The Denim Cowboy," featuring global icon, Beyoncé. Weaving together the three previous chapters, the film reveals the campaign as more than a reinterpretation of iconic Levi's® advertisements — it is the creation of a new narrative centered on empowerment and rewriting the rules. Shown throughout "The Denim Cowboy" are Levi’s® icons and hero pieces from the new BEYONCÉ x LEVI’S® denim collection that serve as the film’s uniform and latest cornerstone of the partnership with Beyoncé, highlighting the brand’s denim lifestyle leadership.  The BEYONCÉ X LEVI’S® denim collection — including the Western Crystal ‘90s Shrunken Trucker and the Western Crystal 501® Curve — along with two other head-to-toe denim sets will be available starting August 4 on Beyonce.com and globally August 7 on Levi.com and at select Levi’s® stores. When I joined Beyond Yoga, I spoke with our co-founders about the brand’s origin: a belief that well-being should be inclusive and that everyone is welcome to come as they are. Seek Beyond builds on that foundation. It’s about the joy that comes from growth and expansion, and about valuing progress over perfection as we try new things - cultivating a healthy mind, body and connection. Now more than ever, people are craving meaningful experiences with their communities.     When our design team kept hearing that our curvier fans couldn’t find baggy jeans that fit properly around the waist, they saw an opportunity to create one product that could deliver on both fronts — and deliver they did. Enter the Cinch Baggy jean, a straight-leg baggy jean with adjusters on the back to provide wearers the flexibility to style the jeans low-rise or high-waisted while eliminating the waist gap and creating a true “tailored-to-you” fit. “When it comes to jeans, versatility is key, especially in today’s denim era,” shared Jill Guenza, VP, Design Women’s Apparel at Levi’s®. “We wanted to create a jean that works for every body type, while giving people the flexibility to adapt their look for any occasion. And we needed to do it in a way that felt authentic to us and to our history.” The response was overwhelmingly positive, and in early March alone, TikTok search volume for the jean hit over 200 million, with influencers and everyday shoppers alike raving about the versatility and fit.
