Shining bright at this year’s Butterfly Festival with the Illuminate project — a collaboration between The Environmental Group of The Villages and Massey Services. As part of their educational booth, the club distributed nearly 300 eco-friendly light bulbs provided by Massey — helping residents discover lighting options that are energy-efficient, bright, and less attractive to pests. The event sparked valuable conversations around sustainability, energy use, and community well-being.

Shovels. Sweat. And a whole lot of heart. Part 2 of our 4Roots collaboration gives a look at the hands-on effort behind the mission. Led by Bill Cohn, Director of Quality Assurance, GU Division, our team spent the day installing an irrigation system at the 4Roots Farm Campus in Orlando—a system that will help sustain future harvests and educational outreach. The work 4Roots is doing to connect people with fresh food, education, and sustainability is a mission we’re proud to support—because at Massey, we believe in growing a better future for our communities, too. Here’s a look at the work in motion—and the passion that powered it. We’re proud to partner with 4Roots and even prouder of our team members who brought this project to life.

We’re proud to recognize Aniket Sawant, Director – Product Management, for completing Leadership Winter Park Class 35 through the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce. This respected program offered deep insights into how city government, nonprofits, education, and economic development shape our region—and gave Aniket the opportunity to reflect on leadership from a broader perspective. “Leadership isn’t just about driving results—it’s about building lasting impact in the communities we live and work in.” Thank you to the Winter Park Chamber for providing such a valuable learning experience. And thank you, Aniket, for your dedication to growing as a leader and representing Massey Services with excellence.

We’re proud to share that a group of our team members, led by Bill Cohn, Director of Quality Assurance, GU Division, recently dedicated an entire day volunteering at the 4Roots Farm Campus in Orlando, helping install a full irrigation system that will support the farm’s ongoing efforts to give back to the community. From trench digging to pipe laying, our volunteers worked hard under the Florida sun to support a cause that aligns deeply with our values. 4Roots is a nonprofit committed to unearthing the power of food to build a healthier, more connected, and more sustainable future. Through hands-on education, farming, and community partnerships, they’re addressing food insecurity and promoting food as a force for good—right here in Central Florida. We're honored to contribute to their mission and support the critical work they’re doing to nourish both people and purpose in our community. Listen to what Bill Cohn has to say about why this project was so important.

Making a difference through tech! 37601 Massey Services recently joined forces with Aeras Foundation —a Central Florida nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to education through renewed technology—to donate vital tools to the Boys & Girls Club of Johnson City and Washington County in Tennessee. With 20 iPads (and accessories), 10 Chromebooks, and 16 sets of headphones now in the hands of students and program leaders, we’re helping expand access to education, creativity, and growth. The Boys & Girls Club offers programs in Career Development, Character & Leadership, the Arts, Education, and more for children ages 5–18 and relies on volunteers and support from the community and local businesses. We’re incredibly thankful for Rob Lobato, our General Manager in our Johnson City service center, Aeras Foundation Executive Director David Collins, and Boys & Girls Club Director Robin Crumley for coming together to support this meaningful initiative.

A few minutes of learning can save a lifetime. We recently had the privilege of partnering with several outstanding healthcare organizations to distribute more than 200 Infant CPR Training Kits to families and providers across Central Florida. In collaboration with: Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital AdventHealth for Children Nemours Children’s Health STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH in Osceola County These American Heart Association kits are designed to help new parents and caregivers feel empowered and ready for the unexpected. Each includes an infant manikin, a training video, and a step-by-step guide—making it easy to learn CPR and choking relief techniques in just 20–25 minutes. In moments where seconds matter, knowledge saves lives. By making these tools accessible, we’re helping ensure that families feel not only prepared—but supported. A heartfelt thank you to all of our partners and health professionals who make this work possible!

At Massey Services, we believe mental health is just as vital as physical health — and supporting it isn’t optional, it’s essential. That’s why we’re proud to support the Mental Health Association of Central Florida and the Legacy of Champions Luncheon, featuring Ice-T, during Mental Health Awareness Month — a time to reflect, advocate, and take meaningful action. This event is more than a gathering — it’s a powerful reminder of the importance of expanding access to care and standing with those on the frontlines of mental health support. MHACF continues to provide life-saving services to uninsured individuals and families across Central Florida, and we’re honored to be part of their mission. Mental health impacts every part of life — from our families to our workplaces. Supporting MHACF is a promise to break the stigma, expand access to care, and be part of the solution.
