Updates

  • Say hello to Jennifer Wright, one of MedRisk's newest Regional Sales Managers and a rising star on the team. Though she's only been with us for six months, she's already made her mark with her creativity, warmth, and attention to detail. Whether she's supporting the sales team or creating personalized chalkboard signage for MedRisk events, Jennifer brings a hands-on, thoughtful energy to everything she does. Her passion for building meaningful client relationships shines through in her work, and we're lucky to have her on board. Outside of work, Jennifer's creative side really takes center stage. A calligraphy enthusiast, she still puts pen to paper with flair, and her love for crafts and artwork keeps her busy after hours. She also enjoys diving into a good book, cooking up something tasty in the kitchen, and staying fueled with her favorite go-to meal: Chipotle (extra guac, please). We're excited to watch Jennifer continue to grow at MedRisk and can't wait to see what she brings to the table next.

  • Did you know that consistent PT can help reduce the need for surgery in many musculoskeletal cases? For many injured workers, early conservative care is enough to get them back on their feet. This summer, we're spotlighting prevention over escalation. Because fewer surgeries mean faster recovery, lower costs, and a healthier claims lifecycle.

  • In workers' comp, fast recoveries are great, but the real win is sustainable healing. Physical therapy helps injured employees regain function while avoiding unnecessary procedures or setbacks. This summer, let's champion the steady, supported progress that truly lasts.

  • Claims that slow down often show warning signs: no progress by week three, missed appointments, vague goals. \\Watch early. Redirect care quickly to improve outcomes and reduce costs. Recovery is a team sport.

  • When providers and adjusters share real-time clinical data, you can spot claims going off-track before they cost more. Missed milestones, noncompliance, or slowed progress? That's your cue to shift plays, not wait until the clock runs out.

  • Low-complexity injuries, like strains and sprains, don't need to sit on the bench. Early PT can speed up recovery, reduce complications, and shorten claims timelines. The WCRI found that early PT for low back pain was linked to fewer medical services and shorter disability duration. That's a smart first play.
