Last month, DTPW’s Passenger Transportation Regulatory team was honored by the National Association of Counties (NACo) for their groundbreaking work tackling illegal ride-share operations targeting passengers at key tourist hotspots. This photo captures one of many joint enforcement efforts with local law enforcement—part of a countywide initiative that has trained over 150 officers and cracked down on unlicensed for-hire vehicles since 2020. Together, we’re protecting riders and leveling the playing field for licensed providers.

DTPW and Friends of The Underline have officially broken ground on Pineland Courts and the new Fitness Room — the first health and wellness amenity areas in Phase 3 of the 7+ mile corridor from SW 19th Avenue to Dadeland South. These new facilities will feature pickleball courts, basketball courts, and an outdoor gym, bringing active, vibrant public space to the heart of the community. #GoMiamiDade #BaptistHealth
