Happy National Intern Day! 🎉 Today, we’re shining a spotlight on our 2025 interns. They’ve been busy soaking up the full Michaels experience – fueling their creativity, learning valuable skills, presenting new ideas, and gaining exposure to Team Members and leaders across the company. The interns recently got a behind-the-scenes look at the local Artistree facility and the Alliance Distribution Center, and they spent time in our stores supporting customers. At Michaels, we love all of our Makers – including the four-legged ones! 🐕🦺 When Auburn, Maine Store Manager Darlene Simmons learned about the life-changing work of Mission Working dogs, she saw an opportunity for an in-store training to support the local community and Michaels’ commitment to inclusion. Mission Working Dogs trains purpose-bred dogs to assist individuals with physical disabilities and provide therapeutic support throughout the community. Their in-store visit went far beyond dogs learning new skills – it was a powerful example of how our Stores can create space for community, celebrate creativity in all forms, and support our customers who may have very specific needs for a successful shopping experience. Today, and every day, we’re proud of our Team Members who fuel the joy of creativity though community engagement, accessibility, and inclusion. 🐾
