MMANC congratulates our Vice President, Anthony Valdez, on his recent appointment as Deputy City Administrator for the City of Santa Barbara. Anthony has been an active member of MMANC, serving as Treasurer, Membership Director, and most recently as Vice President. From driving a membership campaign to City Managers, to mastering QuickBooks, to helping plan our 75th Anniversary celebration, his contributions have strengthened MMANC in countless ways. We are grateful for his service and wish him the very best in this exciting next chapter. Per the Bylaws, the President is authorized to appoint and fill vacancies on the Executive Board. At the August 26, 2025, meeting, President Candice Rankin Mumby appointed Programs Director Stacie Marchetti to serve as Vice President for the remainder of the term. Stacie has been an active and dedicated leader in MMANC, serving as Programs Director since 2024 and previously as a Region 3 Co-Chair. She has played an important role in shaping MMANC’s signature events, supporting Region programming, and contributing to committees focused on the long-term success of the organization. Outside of MMANC, Stacie is a Management Analyst with the City of Roseville.
