Affordable Housing Alliance Celebrated 80 New Homes Marking Successful Municipal Partnership in Millstone Twp What a remarkable day in Millstone Township! The Affordable Housing Alliance celebrated the completion of Allen House II (10 senior units) and Novad Court (3 units for families transitioning out of homelessness), while breaking ground on our most ambitious project yet 27 Burnt Tavern Road's 67-unit development. This project makes history as New Jersey's first 100% affordable Low-Income Housing Tax Credit development utilizing on-site well and septic systems. The innovation doesn't stop there, these apartments will be built to Zero Energy Ready Standards, setting a new benchmark for sustainable affordable housing. The bipartisan support was extraordinary. Senator Owen Henry, Assemblyman Robert Clifton, Seth Levin representing Assemblyman Herb Conaway all came together, demonstrating the broad support for affordable housing that fits seamlessly within our communities. Special recognition to Millstone Township for their visionary partnership approach and to our incredible development team led by Chris Pugliese, CPDO AHA. Mayor Ferro's leadership has been instrumental in making these developments a reality while maintaining the community character residents value. "These 80 homes represent our ongoing commitment to creating affordable housing opportunities where families can focus on what matters most: their health, their goals, and their futures," said Randi Moore, CEO of the Affordable Housing Alliance. "As we approach our 35th anniversary, creating housing solutions like these remind us why this work is so essential to building stronger communities."
