NAA protects and represents our members' interests with regard to legislative and regulatory issues at the federal government level. NAA monitors legislation and regulations in all 50 states and shares that information with your local and state affiliate staff. The NAA Education Institute offers six nationally recognized designation programs and actively promotes the apartment industry as a viable career choice.

Americans are in a challenging scenario where demand surpasses supply, leading to escalating costs for shelter. The solution lies in boosting housing construction to align supply with the growing demand, necessitating a reduction in regulatory hurdles for housing development across income brackets. Today, members of the Upper State Apartment Association engaged in constructive dialogue with Congressman William Timmons during a tour of Flathouse Studios, an affordable housing community.
