Main Hall, the first building on the Agnes Scott College campus, is the College’s second LEED Platinum–certified building! Alongside the same design and construction partners of Rebekah Hall, Jenkins•Peer Architects and Holder Construction, we delivered MEP and sustainability engineering that supports Agnes Scott’s commitment to be a Climate Committed green college and achieve carbon neutrality by 2037. The renovation added a 184-kilowatt solar array supplying 58% of the building’s power and prioritized energy efficiency, renewable energy, indoor air quality, water conservation, materials selection, and historic preservation. By upgrading the College’s two oldest buildings to LEED Platinum standards, the team advanced campus sustainability while offsetting the need for new construction.
