ICYMI: Northwell Health's very own Michael Dowling stopped by our Northern Westchester Hospital campus as part of his farewell tour and in true fashion, he made sure to share some of his wisdom with the entire team. From doctors, to nurses, admins, security guards and everyone in between. ICYMI: Last week, it was Backpack Volunteer Day in Northern Westchester! We saw 20 volunteers packing an estimated 200 backpacks (weighing an anticipated 2,000 pounds). Systemwide, @Northwellhealth raised $67,000 including approximately $5,500 from the western region, to fund the supplies. Backpacks will be distributed through local food pantries in Westchester and through various CBOs and school districts in other regions. Shoutout to all those who volunteered!

Congratulations are in order to Anna Komorowski, MD, who we've just named chief of hematology, medical oncology.
