For the 13th year in a row, 85 #TeamOneMain volunteers rolled up their sleeves and dug into a community clean-up day with the Boys & Girls Club of Evansville. Alongside students and staff, the whole crew worked hard beautifying the neighborhood around the Club, welcomed Evansville Deputy Mayor Lindsay Locasto and enjoyed lunch provided by OneMain. OneMain Financial was honored to have Kansas State Senator Jeffrey Klemp and State Representative David Buehler join us for the grand opening our new Lansing, Kansas, branch. Their leadership on policies that expand access to credit and promote economic opportunity are vital for Kansans. OneMain proudly serves 20,000 customers in the state as part of our commitment to help our customers in Kansas and around the country improve their financial well-being.

Every year, OneMain hosts our Main Event celebration, which recognizes the accomplishments of team members who excel in advancing our mission to improve the financial well-being of hardworking Americans. Held this year in New Orleans, #TeamOneMain honorees took time to support local kids who rely on free school meals on the weekend. Team members assembled 1,000 snack kits, filling drawstring backpacks for Blessings in a Backpack that were then distributed to students at McDonough 24 High School and Educare New Orleans, an early childhood development and education facility.

Wilmington, DE team members rolled up their sleeves alongside Habitat for Humanity International for Humanity of New Castle County staff members and four participants in their Homeownership Program, which prepares, educates and assists individuals in their journey to becoming Habitat homeowners. Team members transported framing, shoveled dirt and removed gravel to level yards in preparation for the next phase of the home build, which consists of four new homes. Supporting Habitat’s vision where everyone has a decent and affordable place to live is one more way #TeamOneMain is fulfilling our mission to improve the financial well-being of hardworking Americans. Of her 23-year career with OneMain, Jocelyn’s 15 years in our branches give her the perfect insight to help shape policies and procedures that help team members do the most for customers. She also supports her team with a commitment to the work-life balance that’s part of our cultural DNA. Jocelyn and her husband travel with their kids’ soccer teams and spend time outdoors hiking and camping to stay mentally and physically strong. “When you genuinely care about your team and their well-being, they’re empowered to do their best work,” says Jocelyn. When devastating tornadoes hit Kentucky, #TeamOneMain stepped up — supporting the very communities where we live and work, including our own colleagues in London, KY. From donations to hands-on help, our team provided #tornadorelief to assist families and residents as they begin to rebuild and recover. We’re proud to stand with our communities, in times of strength and in times of need. 

Our OneMain Financial team had the privilege of spending the day with students at Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis High School in NYC and walked away reminded of the power of possibility. In partnership with EVERFI, our Chief Legal Officer Lily Fu Claffee, along with 17 #TeamOneMain volunteers, joined students for a day filled with real-world learning and meaningful connection. As they practiced elevator pitches, asked thoughtful questions about saving and investing, and explored career paths they hadn’t considered before, we saw lightbulb moments happen in real time—students discovering the benefits of a high-yield savings account, learning how a 529 plan can make college feel within reach and, for one student, being inspired to pursue a career in data science after connecting with our team. To wrap the day, we awarded $1,000 scholarships to four incredible students: Emma Lora, Joseph Velo, Arianna Faustino and Lissett Hernandez. But the biggest reward was hearing their reflections, their questions and their dreams. We came to inspire but left inspired by their ambition, curiosity and resilience. This is what Credit Worthy by OneMain Financial is all about: equipping the next generation with the tools, confidence and encouragement to own their future.
