From volunteers digging in with purpose to students lighting up with curiosity, we saw hands-on learning come to life in every corner from D.C. and Atlanta to Texas, North Carolina, and beyond. There were muddy hands, bright smiles, and outdoor classrooms transformed into places of wonder...promises to students that science can be real, exciting, and rooted in the world around them. Moments in the field 👷♀️ From site walks to student engagement to ribbon cutting ceremonies to trunks filled with concrete, veggies, and lumber — These past two weeks in Charlotte have been busy, to say the least. I'm especially grateful to my wonderful local NC Out Teach crew + fellow PM Sammy for their support and energy as we brought THREE (3!) new outdoor learning labs to life in less than two weeks.

What a partner! We’re so excited to see students bring the new outdoor space to life next school year.
