As part of our recent acquisition of Mastercraft Builder Group, we had the opportunity to do something truly meaningful with the transition. When the Mastercraft team moved from Mac to PC, they were left with 15 gently used MacBooks— and saw an opportunity to give back. They chose to donate the computers to Alpha-Omega Miracle Home, a Florida-based organization that provides housing and support to homeless young mothers (ages 18–26) and senior women. The connection to this organization runs deep, and when their CEO, Lisa Franklin, heard about the donation, she was overwhelmed— their team had been praying for new computers but couldn’t afford the switch to Macs. Now, those computers are not only helping staff, but also the women in the program — many of whom are pursuing their GEDs, associate’s degrees, and even a bachelor’s degree.
