The Tribe operates a variety of economic enterprises: Wind Creek Hospitality, Creek Indian Enterprises Authority, OWA, and others which employ thousands of area residents. A Proud Day for Tuscaloosa! 🙌 Congratulations to Nick & Terry Saban, Governor Kay Ivey, Mayor Walter Maddox, and the many partners who officially broke ground on Wednesday for The Saban Center—a $120 million investment in the future of Tuscaloosa and the state of Alabama. More than just a building, the Saban Center will be a premier destination for families, educators, and curious minds of all ages. With immersive STEM and arts programming, the Tuscaloosa Children's Theater, the new IGNITE museum, and hands-on exhibits that connect learning to real-world careers—it’s set to become a magnet for tourism and a cornerstone of lifelong learning. For locals, it means increased access to high-quality educational experiences, a vibrant new community space, and an economic engine at the heart of the growing River District. Thanks to the Sabans' vision and generosity—and the support of the City, the State, and donors like the Poarch Creek Indians—Tuscaloosa is building something truly special. Fall 2027 can’t come soon enough! 🎉 #VisitTCL #SabanCenter
