  • 🚧 I-270/I-70 Flyover Bridge Opens in Columbus! 🚧 The new I-270 South to I-70 East Flyover Ramp is officially open — the centerpiece of ODOT’s first phase of improvements at the I-70/I-270/Brice Road interchange. This $76M investment, which began in 2022, is transforming mobility and safety for Central Ohio. To mark the milestone, enjoy this timelapse and drone video capturing a full year of seasons as the project took shape. A very special shoutout to Jiyuan Li, who not only served as Construction Project Manager on this critical project but also directed and produced this amazing video — showcasing not only his artistic skills but also the incredible work of our team and partners! 👏 We’re proud of our PRIME AE engineers and inspection staff: Jeffrey Holbrook, Jay Li, Lance Parshall, and Earl Johnson. PRIME AE holds the inspection contract for Phase 1A as well as Phases B & C, which began earlier this year. #Infrastructure #BridgeDesign #ODOT #ColumbusOH #EngineeringExcellence #Timelapse #PRIMEAE https://lnkd.in/ejJdwGHg

  • Breaking Ground in Madison, IN! On August 14, the City of Madison, IN and members of our PRIME AE team celebrated the start of Phase I of the Madison-Hanover Connector Trail! This transformative project will connect downtown Madison to Clifty Falls State Park, creating a safe, scenic route for bicyclists, walkers, and hikers. It’s a key part of the City’s 5-Year Parks Master Plan that supports the City’s vision of a world-class trail system spanning five counties. 🌿 Our Indiana and Kentucky teams supported nearly every step, from planning and design to survey, permitting, and now construction administration. Proud to partner with the City of Madison, Town of Hanover, and community stakeholders to bring this vision to life. Onward to the next phase! #Groundbreaking #TrailDesign #CommunityImpact #PRIMEAE

  • On Tuesday, August 5th, a group of PRIME AE employees took part in the Strodes Creek Clean-Up in Winchester, KY, where they collected enough trash to fill two pickup trucks! This effort was meaningful not only for our team but also for our client, the City of Winchester. For the past three years, we've partnered with the city to map storm sewer assets within the Strodes Creek watershed, providing structure data sheets and CCTV inspections. This work, and the clean-up, reflect our commitment to supporting both our clients and the communities we serve. We’re proud to help protect local waterways through both technical expertise and hands-on service! #PRIMEAE #CommunityEngagement #StrodesCreekCleanup

  • 🏡 Building Community with Habitat for Humanity On July 24th and 31st, the JTL I PRIME AE team spent two meaningful days volunteering with Habitat For Humanity Clark & Floyd Indiana, helping construct two side-by-side homes in New Albany, IN. One home will support a family with three children, and the other will welcome a family with four children. Because both families work during the week, they join the build on weekends. As part of our commitment, we also donated $4,860 to support Habitat’s mission. Mike Harris proudly presented the check to Executive Director Jaclyn Isaacs. Habitat for Humanity envisions a world where everyone has a safe, affordable place to call home—offering families 25-year home loans with 0% interest to make homeownership possible. We’re honored to be part of this life-changing work. 🛠️💙 #PRIMEImpact #HabitatForHumanity #Volunteer #CommunityBuilding

Grand Opening: Park Street Road Diet! The newly redesigned Park Street corridor in Jacksonville is officially open—and it’s transforming how people move through and experience the city. The City of Jacksonville, in partnership with the Downtown Investment Authority (DIA), celebrated the grand opening of this $11 million “road diet” project with strong community support and excitement.   Located in the heart of the historic Brooklyn neighborhood, the Park Street Road Diet is a complete rethinking of urban mobility, safety, and public space. PRIME AE Group, Inc. proudly delivered planning, transportation analysis, civil engineering, and public engagement services to help bring this vision to life.   ➡️ What Is a Road Diet? A “road diet” reimagines traditional roadways by reducing vehicle lanes to create safer, more balanced streets for everyone—not just drivers. It’s about: -Lowering speed limits for safer travel -Prioritizing pedestrians and cyclists -Improving accessibility and parking -Adding greenery and gathering spaces   This nearly one-mile stretch of Park Street—covering 2.5 acres of urban corridor—was identified by the DIA as a vital connection point for several downtown revitalization efforts. PRIME AE’s design focused on turning this formerly car-centric corridor into a walkable, vibrant public space. Key improvements include: -Fewer vehicle lanes and slower traffic speeds -Expanded sidewalks and bike lanes -Redesigned parking and safer crosswalks -Shaded, tree-lined walkways -Transit stops and stormwater upgrades   The grand opening was a true community moment, with local cyclists, pedestrians, residents, and business owners showing up to celebrate.   Jacksonville Mayor Donna Deegan summed it up best: “This used to be a car-dominated corridor, but after a road diet, we have transformed it into a safer, more vibrant, and more accessible public space. We’ve narrowed vehicle lanes, added bike accessibility, expanded sidewalks, and installed enhanced crosswalks and greenery.”   Park Street Road Diet marks a major step forward in Jacksonville’s goal of creating a more people-first downtown.   PRIME AE team members Sheldon Gibbs, Michael Kulik, PLA, Caitlin Breland, P.E., and Timothy O'Reilly were present for the ceremony. This project is a proud reflection of PRIME AE’s dedication to thoughtful urban design and community-first infrastructure. By blending safety, sustainability, and placemaking, Park Street now stands as a model for future revitalization projects across the region.
