Prism is back at the DFW Airport in a big way! Terminal F is officially underway! This will be the airport’s first new terminal in nearly 20 years, adding 31 new gates as part of a larger expansion across 68 total gates. Built using a modular approach—like Module 6 pictured here—each section is constructed offsite and moved into place. The Dental Hygiene Expansion Project at ACC’s Eastview Campus is moving full steam ahead and on track to welcome students this fall. The project includes the renovation of 13,850 square feet at our Eastview Campus and expands ACC’s Dental Clinic so we can treat more patients! We’re growing from 16 dental treatment rooms to 32. This project is one of the first major construction efforts underway through the College’s 2022 General Obligation Bond. I’m proud to share that the Baylor Scott & White Health Medical Center – PGA Parkway in Frisco, TX will open to patients this summer. This new medical campus is the result of years of planning, coordination, and hard work across hundreds of hands and minds. As the leader of our design and construction team in North Texas, it’s deeply rewarding to see it come to life: * 340,000 sq ft hospital + 140,000 sq ft medical office (by our partners at Blue Star and @crossland Construction) * 84-bed hospital (with room to grow!) * Cardiovascular care, including catheterization labs * Emergency and trauma care * Floor dedicated to women’s health, including labor and delivery rooms, a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and postpartum recovery suites * Primary and specialty care services * Surgical facilities, including operating rooms and cardiac procedure rooms, gastroenterology and robotic technology * Imaging and interventional radiology services, with a dedicated Women’s Imaging Center * 32 months from groundbreaking to completion. Thanks to DPR Construction * 750 workers on-site at peak construction *1.5 million man-hours invested from concept to completion * Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) of 2.47, reflecting strong safety management! * Hundreds of design professionals working over the course of 48+ months to deliver a beautiful and cohesive campus: HKS, Inc., Smith Seckman Reid, Inc., RLG Consulting Engineers, Edwards+Mulhausen Interior Design, Hoefer Welker, Babendure Design Group, ENFRA, Campos Engineering, Inc., Terracon, Corgan, Field Verified, H. Structure Tone Southwest partnered with Michael Hsu Office of Architecture to bring this one-of-a-kind culinary space to life. The Kitchen Bistro at 6th and Guadalupe features: - An upscale bistro with a wood-wrapped bar - Elegant chandeliers and a private dining room - An open kitchen for a true chef’s table experience Structure Tone Southwest’s scope included: - Structural steel deck construction - Mezzanine, stair, and elevator installation - High-performance mechanical and electrical systems - AEGB sustainability standards and used BIM/VDC for seamless coordination and precision.
