If you’re curious about the variety of ways you can apply your RN career, you need to meet Rosemar!✨ Rosemar is currently an RN care manager at Providence Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica, California. She is also a mom, a wife, a world traveler, and a former business owner! Her zest for life and experiencing new things is what led her into her career as a care manager, also commonly called a case manager. Prior to her current role, Rosemar has worked in both clinic and hospital settings, including ambulatory care, surgery, pre-op, and med-surg. She even owned a residential care facility for the elderly for 14 years.🌟 Rosemar says that care management beautifully combines her nursing skills, finance background and the practical business experience she gained as a business owner. “Case management is more about guiding and leading than bedside nursing, but I do get some of that.” We are so happy to have Rosemar as part of our RN care management team!💙 Read Rosemar's full story and learn more about care management: https://lnkd.in/g6gnvczR

🤝Meet Cari, a respiratory therapist at Providence Portland Medical Center🤝 She has seen and experienced Providence from every angle: as a patient herself, as the mom and friend of patients, and in her job as a respiratory therapist. This unique perspective has strengthened her relationships with her coworkers and her loyalty to Providence. Cari is currently pursuing her master's degree with the support of our tuition reimbursement benefit and says, “I’m not sure exactly where my career will take me, but I know one thing—I don’t want to leave this community that has given me so much.”✨ We are equally grateful for the contributions Cari brings to Providence.💙 Read her full story: https://lnkd.in/gtgz2hF7

🌟Caregiver Spotlight🌟 Veronica is an RN at Covenant Health Hobbs Hospital, which she calls “the happiest place I’ve ever worked.” Why? She says it’s simple: “I feel that way because of the way I have been treated, how I’ve been heard, and the team that I have.” Veronica was drawn to work at Covenant because of the Mission, which she lives out every day, as do her coworkers. When surrounded by others who share the same values, it allows for a deeper level of connection and support, bringing fulfillment to her own life while doing good for the community. As an RN, you have a lot of options when considering a specialty or setting. We're here to put the ICU on your list and give you a peek into our own ICU team at Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla, WA. We talked to two of our ICU nurses, Afton and Stacy, about their favorite parts of the job. Throughout the conversation, they expressed appreciation for the benefits, such as tuition assistance and backup family support, but the common theme that stood out was the culture of camaraderie and support.🤝💙 Stacy said, "We hug each other all the time. We cry together. We problem-solve together. Honestly, I’m here because of my coworkers." Between their coworkers and leadership, they feel supported professionally and personally.🫂 Read more about what it's like working as an ICU nurse at Providence: https://lnkd.in/gQmyqx3B
