About us
Rainbow Days helps children and youth in adversity build coping skills and resilience to create positive futures by providing them with the skills and support they need to make healthy choices, stay drug free and believe they have a purpose. Through an array of direct services, including Rainbow Days’ own CBSG® Program, classroom presentations, summer camps, family outings and other supportive services, over 9,000 children and youth living in high-risk situations in the Dallas area learn life-changing skills and receive caring support from positive adult mentors as they benefit from Rainbow Days’ programs each year. Through our Training division, we expand the scope of our programs across the United States by training youth-serving professionals in our CBSG® Program and providing workforce development opportunities to thousands of participants each year. Our Community Connection team made a big impact this summer across Dallas! From June through August, they partnered with 31 sites and supported youth summer camps with prevention education, outreach, and support. Here’s a snapshot of what they accomplished: ✔️ Completed nearly 200 tobacco compliance checks to help keep youth safe ✔️ Provided support groups to more than 700 youth ✔️ Delivered positive alternatives to over 2,000 youth and 400 adults ✔️ Shared information on mental health, substance use prevention, and more with 1,000+ youth and 200+ adults We’re so proud of the lives our team touched and grateful for their dedication to helping provide every child with a safe place and a trusted person to feel seen, heard, and valued.

Listening is one of the most powerful tools we have to support children and youth. As leaders, educators, parents, and caring adults, each of us can create connections that truly make a difference. Developing trust by nurturing meaningful connections is one of the most effective ways to help the next generation envision bold and resilient futures for themselves. 🌟 Take time to listen, build trust, and #HelpKidsRise. 💛 💬: Spencer Becker

Social media often shows the highlights, not the full story. If your child is struggling and turning to substances like drugs or alcohol to cope, remember, they don’t have to face it alone. Support starts with a conversation, and help is always within reach. Explore resources from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention: https://bit.ly/4m6YOZx
