Little delayed in getting this out, but recently attended the ILMA (Independent Lubricant Manufacturers Association) Engage conference at Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa and Indian Wells Golf Resort in Palm Springs, CA. ILMA gave me the floor (perhaps a mistake?) to provide an overview of the current insurance market for chemical companies and risk management strategies they can employ to best position themselves in the eyes of underwriters. Also lucked into a grouping with Mark Egle and Nicholas Martin (Specialty Lubricants Corporation) for the ILMA golf outing. We’ll have a title to defend at 2026 Engage!
