Our amazing Bowman Café team (part of Doctor Franklin Perkins School's Adult Transition Program) whipped up 15 pounds of mashed potatoes and 15 pounds of meatloaf using donated garlic scapes from our neighbors down the street, World Farmers! From field to fork in just hours, the Doctor Franklin Perkins School day and residential meals are made by our amazing food services team with fresh, local produce, often grown by nearby farms! Meals feature everything from heirloom tomatoes to peaches, squash, and cucumbers, harvested, delivered, and served the same day.
