Proud of our partnership with Utah Transit Authority to increase frequent transit service routes. With Go Routes, 4 of our highest ridership bus routes now run every 15 minutes or better during peak hours Monday through Saturday.
Taking the bus is easier than ever, just ask Jared!

Transportation is essential — but it's not always accessible to everyone. UTA’s Coordinated Mobility department helps bridge that gap by connecting Utah’s most vulnerable populations to crucial transit services. Whether it's through assisting partners with writing for the 5310 grant, offering a training on wheelchair securement, or providing a forum for partners to collaborate, Coordinated Mobility's mission is to make transit access more fair and to ensure that underserved populations stay connected and involved in the community.

77% of federal funding for public transit flows to private businesses – including companies like Stadler Rail Group. Thanks to a $129 million grant, partially funded by the Federal Transit Administration, Stadler will supply 80 new cutting-edge CityLink cars for Utah Transit Authority’s TRAX light rail system.
Stadler’s Salt Lake City manufacturing facility already supports 500 good-paying jobs – and with continued federal investments, Stadler plans to expand to 800 employees in just the next few years.

The TRAX Red Line to the University of Utah has officially reopened!
For the past 11 weeks, crews have worked tirelessly to replace the interlockings at both the Stadium platform and at 450 East. Interlockings allow trains to transfer from one side of the track to the other, which is crucial when it comes to providing more trains for large events at Rice-Eccles Stadium, like football games. Other upgrades — like improved drainage, power, and remote control functions — will contribute to more efficient long-term operations.
In today’s economy, affordable transportation options matter.
Aram rides Go Routes because it’s convenient, reliable, and helps him avoid the costs of owning a car—no maintenance, no stress, and transit options every 15 minutes.
Public transit isn’t just a ride. It’s a solution.

UTA recently celebrated the 35th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). This key piece of civil rights legislation laid the groundwork for providing anti-discrimination and anti-harassment protections for individuals with disabilities. In an effort to make the UTA system as accessible as possible, UTA formed a citizen advisory group called the Committee on Accessible Transportation (CAT). Hear from some of our CAT members about the ways their work has a tangible impact on the UTA system.
Utah Attorney General Derek Brown visited the attorneys and staff of the Transit Section of The Office of the Utah Attorney General on Friday. Our section provides legal support to the Utah Transit Authority. It was a great opportunity to discuss with the AG the work we do in helping UTA achieve its mission statement of “We Move You!” in providing essential transit service to the people along the Wasatch Front.
It was such a blast working with Mike Varanakis and Eric Vance from the Utah Transit Authority last week during our filming session!
Our Horrocks crew visited the Lehi Front Runner station to film some short interview pieces with the famous Richard Hansen and Kevin Cox to talk about our efforts on this huge Progressive Design-Build project and the positive impacts it will have on Utah commuters and surrounding communities.
Shout-out to Kirsten Priest for her efforts on making this filming session a reality, and a huge thank-you to all who helped make filming a delight (I'm looking at you, Russell Jolley, Derek Larsen, and Rhianna Riggs)!
Excited to see how these video pieces turn out. Stay tuned! 🎬
