RQAW | DCCM is proud to announce that Chriss Jobe, PE has been promoted to Vice President of Transportation! Chriss brought over 20 years of experience from INDOT when he joined RQAW | DCCM in 2015, having led major construction efforts including multiple sections of the I-69 alignment. He built the Construction Inspection department from the ground up, growing it into RQAW | DCCM's largest and most consistently utilized team. His leadership has created a culture of loyalty and excellence, with incredibly low turnover and a reputation that continues to attract top-tier talent. Chriss and his team are regularly selected by INDOT and LPA clients to oversee critical infrastructure projects. MEP Systems Ready for the School Year 📚 RQAW | DCCM led the significantly advanced comprehensive HVAC system upgrade for the Rosa Parks Elementary School. This initiative was carefully phased to align with the academic calendar and minimize disruption to school operations. The cooling system was replaced over spring break, ensuring the facility was prepared for warmer weather, while the heating system was completed during summer break to support the upcoming school year. The project involved installing three high-efficiency boilers, two high-capacity chillers, and a modern Building Management System, giving facility staff better control and visibility. Delivered through a design-bid-build approach, it used multiple manufacturers and flexible options to stay within budget. Last week, RQAW | DCCM was proud to take part in the groundbreaking for the future Marion Fire Station. Designed with firefighters' needs in mind, the new facility will feature 3.5 bays, 8 bunks, a fitness room, and open kitchen, dining, and dayroom spaces.
