The Salvation Army LA Red Shield’s Back to School event was a huge success! ❤️🎒 This year, we were thrilled to help 100 children pick out brand-new school clothes during a special shopping trip to Old Navy. After shopping, the kids returned to our community center, where they received backpacks, school supplies, and lunch to get them ready for the school year. ✨ We’re proud to see this event grow. Last year, we served 60 kids — and this year, we reached 100! A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful volunteers from SoCalGas who generously gave their time and energy to make the day special. 💙 We’re also deeply grateful to Albertsons Companies for their generous sponsorship — your support means so much to us! Back to School Bash at Anaheim Red Shield!🎒✨ Over 400 families joined us for a fun-filled day with games, backpacks, and school supplies to help kids start the year strong! 🎒✏️ This Saturday, The Salvation Army Murrieta Corps hosted our annual Child Spree Back-to-School event!   Over 175 kids went on a shopping spree at JCPenney with $125 gift cards for brand-new school clothes. Each child also received backpacks, school supplies, books, toys, and more!   We’re so grateful to our sponsors and volunteers for making this event possible.
