Our #Communications team recently won coveted awards for its marketing efforts. SAWS received an Award of Excellence for’Best Use of Promotional Item’ from the Texas Association of Municipal Information Officers for our 2024 Loteria-themed Fiesta medal that promotes the proper disposal of wipes to prevent sewer overflows. Medal sales also raised more than $7,000 for Project Agua, our bill payment assistance program. Communications also won a La Plata award from the local Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) as part of the Del Oro Awards. The honor was for the comprehensive  awareness campaign ‘Wrangle Your Water Use’ that encouraged outdoor water #conservation during our current multi-year drought. #txwater #utilities #wastewater
