The project was built with a commitment to ensuring development happened without displacing City Heights residents, fulfilling a multi-generational promise to restore housing lost following the construction of the SR-15 freeway. Your expertise is invaluable, especially if you have a strong background in property management or asset management. MTW Collaborative Statement on the ROAD to Housing Bill The Moving to Work Collaborative applauds the historic bipartisan ROAD to Housing Bill but believes the current MTW provisions would undermine the core principles of MTW: local flexibility, community-driven solutions, and empowering PHAs to improve outcomes for residents and increase the supply of affordable housing. We urge Congress not to adopt the MTW provisions as written and look forward to working with lawmakers to ensure any expansion MTW supports the field-tested and performance-validated MTW model that informs policy makers and strengthens affordable housing programs for low-income residents and communities nationwide. CRP Affordable Housing and Community Development is pleased to announce the successful closing of construction financing for The Grant at Mission Trails in San Diego, CA! This impactful development will bring 48 new affordable homes, with all units (except the manager’s unit) reserved for current and former members of the U.S. military, including 14 supportive housing units designated for veterans experiencing homelessness, supported by Townspeople and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Once completed, Buckingham Property Management will manage the property, with Townspeople providing supportive services to the homeless veteran population and PACIFIC SOUTHWEST COMMUNITY DE delivering resident services to the remaining 33 family-designated units. Located at 5945 Mission Gorge Road, The Grant at Mission Trails is situated in a High Resource area. Residents will benefit from convenient access to public transportation, parks, schools, grocery stores, medical care, and other essential community amenities — helping create a strong foundation for long-term stability.
