Is an average recruiter guiding your next career move? Anyone can send you a job posting. 🥱 The right strategic recruiter helps you land the RIGHT role—one that aligns with your values, goals, and long-term vision. Here’s what makes that kind of recruiter different: ↳ They offer real insight into teams, culture, and leadership, not just titles and salaries. ↳ They look for alignment, not just qualifications. ↳ They are transparent, honest, and keep you informed every step of the way. ↳ They negotiate with skill and clarity, so you know your worth is recognized. And most importantly, they think beyond this next move—they’re focused on your future. You don’t need a recruiter who just fills jobs. You need a STRATEGIC partner who helps you make the best decision for your career. 🏆 -- Watch me on YouTube 🔴 for more career strategies! -- #recruiting #jobseekers #hiring #careers

In my upcoming book, 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗲 𝗮 𝗥𝗼𝗰𝗸𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿™📕, I talk about the powerful difference between influencing and persuading in the hiring process. My book writing coach, David Ferris, challenged me to think through this one... Persuasion feels like PRESSURE. It’s trying to convince someone to say yes to something they’re not fully aligned with. INFLUENCE, on the other hand, is about clarity. It’s showing someone what’s already aligned—and giving them space to see it for themselves. When you’re influencing, you’re not chasing. You’re building trust and presenting an opportunity that resonates. High performers don’t need to be convinced—they need to see that your opportunity matches what they already want. That’s why your role isn’t to push. It’s to reveal ALIGNMENT. When leaders approach hiring with influence instead of pressure, they attract stronger candidates and build momentum that lasts. Want to convert more rockstars? Ask yourself whether you're influencing or persuading. 🏆 -- Watch me on YouTube 🔴 for more recruiting strategies! -- #recruiting #strategy #hiring #talentacquisition

We’ve all seen a great candidate who doesn't quite shine in the interview. Maybe they seem a little off, distracted, or just not at their best. 😰 This happens to the BEST of us. Factors like stress, personal issues, or even a long week can affect performance. It’s human nature. Instead of letting that one moment cloud your judgment, consider asking the candidate this simple question: "Do you feel you showed up at your best?” A transparent, direct conversation can give candidates the opportunity to reset, clarify, and even perform better next time. More importantly, it allows you to assess them beyond just that one interaction. Flexibility in how you evaluate high-performers and allowing for a bit of grace—can make all the difference in identifying the RIGHT fit. Rockstars have bad days too. Don’t let a single off-day cost you a potential Rockstar. 🏆 -- Watch me on YouTube 🔴 for more recruiting strategies! -- #recruiting #hiring #jobinterview #talentacquisition

The message seemed like it came from a recruiter. But something FELT off. The grammar was sloppy. The wording was strange. It didn’t sound like a REAL opportunity. During a Career Strategy Session, my client Anna told me she wasn’t sure if the recruiter was even real. So before replying, she triple-checked everything: ✔️ Verified the email ✔️ Researched the company ✔️ Looked for signs of a scam ✔️ Scanned the recruiter’s LinkedIn Because even legit recruiters lose trust when they don’t show up like professionals. If you're reaching out to rockstar talent, represent the company like it matters. Use clear language, proofread your message, and be intentional. You can’t expect TRUST from a rockstar if you don’t earn it. 🏆 -- Watch me on YouTube 🔴 for more recruiting strategies! -- #recruiting #hiring #culture #talentacquisition

For high performers, AI is about to fast-track your career. 🏆 “People are going to walk in the door almost instantaneously becoming reviewers and supervisors,” said Jennifer Kosar, AI Assurance Leader at PwC. The reality? AI is replacing the repetitive, entry-level work (thankfully) that used to define the first years of a career. And that many of us hate! For high performers, this is a huge advantage: - You’ll step into impact roles faster than ever - Your skills in critical thinking, leadership, and problem-solving will be valued from day one - Career progression that once took years can now happen in months For leaders, it’s both an opportunity and a challenge: - Onboard talent into decision-making roles immediately vs task-driven roles - Rethink development paths to keep top talent engaged and growing The next generation won’t be “junior” for long. 💬 What’s one way you think AI will change the way we develop high performers? #AI #Leadership #FutureOfWork Source: Business Insider

Today, I had the privilege of joining a yoga session with Deepak Chopra MD (official). Here’s what I can’t stop thinking about: Only 2% of cancers and other major illnesses are caused by genetics. The other 98%? Often linked to stress. Stress doesn’t just live in your mind — it stores in your body as TOXINS. If we don’t release these toxins, they can turn into pain, emotional trauma, and disease. What you can do… Create intentional space to release, restore, and reset so your body doesn’t force you to. What’s one practice you use to let go of stress? #leadership #mindfulness #personaldevelopment

Joseph received 7 job offers in just 30 days. If you’ve been job searching for months and still haven’t received any offers, it’s time to rethink your strategy. My client found SUCCESS in using strategic differentiators.   He didn’t apply to hundreds of jobs, he applied strategically. He tailored his resume to each opportunity. He optimized his LinkedIn profile to attract recruiters. He gave personalized, compelling answers in interviews. Then he used his multiple offers to negotiate the best one. He POSITIONED himself as the obvious choice at every step. That’s how you land job offers. It’s all about your positioning. 🏆 -- Watch me on YouTube 🔴 for more career strategies! -- #recruiting #jobseekers #jobinterviews #strategy
