🌟 Wrapping Up an Incredible Summer! 🌟 We've recently concluded 11 amazing weeks with our Summer Interns—and what a journey it’s been! They joined us with curiosity and ambition, and throughout the summer, they dove into the retail industry, collaborated on impressive team projects, and left with a wealth of knowledge and experience. We’re incredibly proud of all they accomplished and grateful for the energy and fresh perspectives they brought to the team. As they head back to school, we wish them continued success in everything they pursue. 🎓 We’re also thrilled to share that four interns are staying on with us—and we’re excited to officially welcome these talented individuals to the team!

Shaw’s Maine Team Visits MDA Summer Camp🌟 We had the incredible opportunity to tour with the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) the Pine Tree Camp in Rome, Maine — and it was truly heartwarming to see how they make camp inclusive for kids with neuromuscular diseases. One of the highlights was visiting the only wheelchair-accessible treehouse in Maine — a magical space that embodies the spirit of accessibility and adventure. Thank you to MDA and Pine Tree Camp for creating such a welcoming and empowering environment. And thank you to our Shaw’s Maine Team for showing up with heart and creating lasting impact.

We’re proud to celebrate Ramon Santiago, our dedicated Meat & Seafood Sales Manager, for his unwavering commitment to the community. Ray recently presented a $5,000 donation to the Boys & Girls Club of Fall River, a place that has long been a cornerstone for youth development and empowerment. As part of our Shaw’s and Star Market Foundation Nourishing Neighbors initiative, the donation will help fill the Feel Good Fridge. Thank you, Ray, for always leading with heart and showing us what it means to give back to our local communities.
Did you know that the Club has a Feel Good Fridge? In addition to the 170 dinners served nightly at the Club through the Cornerstone Design/Build Services, Inc. Kids' Cafe, members and their families are welcome to take home food from the fridge throughout the school year. Shaw’s and Star Market recently granted the Club $5,000 to fill this fridge with fresh produce and necessities starting this fall. Thank you, Shaw's! We are so proud to partner with you and can't wait to stock up for the new school year. A big thank you to Blount Fine Foods and United Way of Greater New Bedford's Hunger Commission for filling this fridge with delicious soups throughout the school year.
