📢 CIT Blocks IEEPA Tariffs: What Importers Should Know On May 28, the U.S. Court of International Trade (CIT) ruled that the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) does not authorize the reciprocal or fentanyl-related tariffs. The court vacated the executive actions behind these tariffs and permanently enjoined their enforcement, meaning CBP should stop collecting them. The legal process is still unfolding.
