It's a privilege to be among the first batch of #STRATFI selectees in 2025! More to come once we're on contract for this work, this $15M in R&D funding goes a long way towards bridging the DoD's "valley of death." Congrats to all the other selectees and thank you Weston for representing team Simplesense!

Established in FY22, the DoD’s Accelerate the Procurement and Fielding of Innovative Technologies (APFIT) program provides funding to small or non-traditional defense companies to reduce the procurement timeline by expediting the production and fielding of critical technologies. Our client Simplesense – a cutting-edge software company deploying cybersecurity solutions for Operational Technology (OT) – was recently awarded an APFIT contract from the Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center to produce and deploy continuous monitoring technology at five additional military bases across the country. Congrats to CEO Eric Kanagy and his team! https://lnkd.in/eSJkTxNV

On Monday, Simplesense signed a new $20M contract with the Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center under the United States Department of Defense Accelerate the Procurement and Fielding of Innovative Technologies program. This contract supports deployment of the Installation Resilience Operations Command & Control (IROC) #OT #cybersecurity and information sharing program at five additional United States Air Force, United States Space Force, and US Army installations and marks an important step in advancing the security of defense #criticalinfrastructure. We are honored to expand our technology platform across the Department of Defense as part of the highly selective #APFIT program. This contract is a testament to our team’s expertise in securing and unlocking OT systems and data to meet the evolving threats to critical infrastructure. By rapidly delivering new capabilities into the hands of warfighters, we are not only enhancing the nation’s defense but also proving that accelerated adoption of new technology is very possible within the DoD ecosystem.
