It started with a pile of empty wine bottles and a pair of entrepreneurs— Jack Gibbons and Randy DeWitt—asking a simple but bold question: Is there a better way to serve wine? That moment sparked the idea for Sixty Vines, a restaurant built on the belief that wine can be served more sustainably and made more approachable for a new generation of wine drinkers. Sixty Vines CEO Jeff Carcara has taken that vision and made it his mission to have real conversations with winemakers about the future of wine in restaurants. It wasn’t easy. Many said no. Many believed wine belonged only in bottles. And we get that—wine is an art. But a few were curious. People like Jason Haas, Joe Wagner, Peter Stolpman, PAUL HOBBS WINES, Rob Fischer, and Honig Vineyard & Winery gave us a shot. They understood we weren’t trying to change their wine, just how people experience it. That persistence, trust, and collaboration laid the foundation for what Sixty Vines is today. Not just a restaurant, but a place where wine is served with intention along with a menu designed to bring out the best in every pour. Thank you to Wine Enthusiast and Kate Dingwall for showing kegged wine’s potential—and to the winemakers who helped us build something different. 🍷 🍇 https://lnkd.in/gC7u66GR

We’re pleased to share Sixty Vines was featured in Forbes for National Fried Chicken Day. The spotlight highlights our signature fried chicken, buttermilk brined and topped with lemon crème fraîche and caviar, available at all of our locations. As Micah Willix, Senior Director of Culinary, describes it: “Crispy, rich, a little fancy, and totally comforting.” This dish is a great example of our ‘pinkies down’ approach, where thoughtful, chef-driven food doesn’t take itself too seriously. https://lnkd.in/dt2fjP2x
