The Texas Hill Country is where my family and I call home. In the wake of the devastating floods, we’ve seen heartbreak - but also hope. With the support of Sparrow Partners, we were able to deliver a trailer full of emergency relief supplies to several impacted communities. I’m incredibly grateful to work for an organization that doesn’t just talk about values - it lives them. We build community, and we put people first. Always. Our hearts are heavy, but our spirits are lifted by the selfless acts of service we’ve witnessed - not only from native Texans, but from folks across the country showing up in ways big and small. Our community members got to celebrate creativity and tap into their inner artist during our recent Van Gogh Paint & Social. They were tasked with using bold brushstrokes and vibrant colors to create their own masterpiece, inspired by the iconic works of Vincent van Gogh. This special showcase event also featured the incredible paintings from the Paint Like Van Gogh event, paired with a delicious selection of Gouda cheeses and light refreshments to top off the evening! #webuildcommunity

Birds of a feather flock together! As part of our Earth Day initiative, our teams came together to build birdhouses that have become a safe space for local birds across our communities. Why birdhouses? Because even small shelters can make a big difference in our planet. Speaking of big, our Maintenance Supervisor at our ArborView property, Hector Lima, took it one step further and built a bird mansion!
