  • Job Description: Software Engineering/IT Manager Duration- Long Term with Possibility for FTE (w2 role) Location: Remote (Seattle, WA) Prefer Southwest Candidate Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Software Engineering Manager to lead a team of talented software engineers in designing, developing, and maintaining innovative software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality products. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. Drive the development, testing, and deployment of software solutions, ensuring technical integrity, scalability, and alignment with business objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, operations, and stakeholders, to define project scopes and deliverables. Oversee the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery processes.   • EDI (MuleSoft) Data Engineer Position Location:  Remote. Preference for those in CST/EST time zones  Contract- 12+Month We are seeking a highly skilled EDI Data Exchange Engineer with extensive experience in healthcare data systems, including medical claims, eligibility data, and other healthcare use cases.  The ideal candidate also be an expert in Mulesoft for building, managing, and optimizing data integrations and workflows. This role requires a blend of technical acumen, healthcare domain knowledge, and strong problem-solving skills to support seamless data exchange and integration in compliancewith industry standards.  Primary Responsibilities:    ∙MuleSoft EDI Development and Management: oDesign, develop, and manage EDI workflows for healthcare use cases such as claims processing (837), remittance advice (835), eligibility (834), inquiries (270/271), and prior authorization requests.  oEnsure compliance with HIPAA, HL7, FHIR, and other healthcare data standards and regulations. Troubleshoot EDI issues, monitor transaction flows, and perform error resolution for data exchange processes. ∙Mulesoft Integration Expertise:  Develop and maintain integrations and APIs using Mulesoft Anypoint Platform to connect healthcare systems and external partners.  Design and implement reusable components and templates for API-led connectivity and data transformation.  Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of Mulesoft-based integrations for  large-scale healthcare datasets.  Healthcare Data Management: Qualifications:  ∙Deep understanding of healthcare data standards like HIPAA, HL7, and FHIR. 5+ years of experience in Healthcare EDI development, particularly with healthcare transactions (e.g., 837, 835, 270/271, 276/277).  ∙Proficient in Mulesoft Anypoint Platform, including API design, RAML/Swagger specifications, DataWeave transformations, and integration management.Handson experience with databases (SQL), cloud platforms (Azure or AWS), and version control tools (Git).  ∙Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.  ∙Effective communication skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.  ∙Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.  ∙Certifications Preferred: Mulesoft Certified Developer, Mulesoft Certified Architect, or similar.  ∙Experience with healthcare payer systems, clearinghouses, or provider networks.  ∙Familiarity with middleware platforms and other integration tools.
