This summer, Talcott reaffirmed its commitment to support local charities through various acts of community involvement. Team members volunteered with Connecticut Foodshare and Second Harvest Heartland, helping to provide meals to families in need. Additionally, Talcott donated backpacks filled with school supplies to teachers at Betances Magnet School in Hartford, CT, supporting their and their students’ academic success. We have to give another shout out to our friends over at Talcott Financial Group who once again supported us and in doing so, have buoyed our spirits! Not only are they a 2025 Education Expert Sponsor, but last week, they reached out to share that we would be receiving an additional gift - this time from the victors of their employee scavenger hunt that was held in Hartford last week. (Side note: we love that TFG always seem to be doing cool things to engage their employees!) The winning team got to pick the charity of their choice and they chose us! How nice is that?!?
